Event Information

Motability Scheme Live is a series of annual events hosted by the Motability Scheme.

The programme kicks off with our flagship show – Motability Scheme Live, Birmingham which is our biggest event of the year. This is then followed by two more events in Harrogate and Northern Ireland.

Our events are designed to showcase all elements of the Motability Scheme and raise awareness of what the Scheme offers.

More information about the Motability Scheme can be found here: motability.co.uk

We have the following events taking place in 2025:

  • Motability Scheme Live, Birmingham at NEC on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May
  • Motability Scheme Live, Harrogate at Yorkshire Event Centre on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 August

All events start at 9am and finish at 4pm.

Our event at the NEC shows the largest selection of cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), adaptations, powered wheelchairs and scooters available on the Motability Scheme,  all in one accessible place.

We also have speaker sessions, where you can hear from a variety of experts on different topics. For the most up to date information on the line-up, please visit the Birmingham page.

  • 3 (three) penalty points, which may have been accrued for any conviction;

OR

  • 6 (six) penalty points in any one, or combination, of the following conviction categories: Speeding (SP), Construction and Use Offences (CU), Pedestrian Crossing (PC) or Traffic Signs/Directions (TS)

Any penalty points / endorsements over and above those listed above mean you will be unable to complete a test drive as a driver. Any endorsements with a conviction date of more than 5 (five) years’ old will not be counted.

To take a test drive, guests must bring their valid driving licence and sign our test drive declaration form on the day.

During our set up day, we will confirm what vehicles will be available to test drive.
